Cathy joined our Ayre/Rhinehart team in 1991 and fully understands that skills and knowledge are very necessary for both buyers and sellers to make wise beneficial decisions, particularly in todays challenging market. She eagerly stands ready to successfully guide her clients through this complex process, and through her experience recognizes that many factors, not the least of which is a homes condition, directly affect not only a homes sales price but also its marketing time.
Todays buyers are looking for attractive, move-in ready properties as is evidenced by the array of home staging programs on television. Programs such as "Designed to Sell" demonstrates the value home staging can provide. To assist her clients, Cathy has recently become an accredited Home Staging Professional. This ASP designation is recognized by the National Association of Realtors. She plans on specializing primarily in the redesigning aspect of home staging, as she finds this service to be both cost effective for sellers as well as personally rewarding. She believes that it's often difficult for sellers to be objective about their own home, and it is her desire to share proven pre-marketing strategies with sellers to help give them a distinct winning edge over their competition.
Cathy also sees value for her home buyers with this enhanced skill as helping customers visualize redone spaces can be a valuable start. In an effort to bring yet a higher level of service to her buyers she also holds an ABR designation which is an Accredited Buyers Representative designation also fully recognized by the National Association of Realtors. While the present market brings both opportunities and challenges, Cathy feels strongly that the time to think about resale is when you buy, and will share with her buyers those things that are likely to affect future outcomes.
Cathy would like you to know that If your current home no longer fits your needs or desires, and if you feel you're ready for a new start, that she's ready to put experience to work for you!
