- Soccer: visit the Midland
Soccer Club to find activities for soccer enthusiasts of all ages
- Tennis: enjoy many public courts plus the Midland Community
Tennis Center, host of the annual Dow Corning/United States Tennis Association Womens Challenge
- Swimming: facilities include the Midland Community Center indoor pools,
Plymouth Park's outdoor pool, plus
the beach at Stratford Woods Park and Sanford Lake Park.

Tobogganing, Sledding & Cross-Country Skiing: the City
Forest offers 520 wooded acres with miles of trails, 2 thrilling
toboggan runs, a sled park and a cozy chalet complete with fireplace and plenty
of hot chocolate
- Cycling: enjoy 22 miles of paved trail on the Pere
Marquette Rail Trail or join the Tri-City
Cycling Club
- Golf -Public courses include Currie
Golf Course with 27 holes, a driving range and a par-3 course, as
well as Sandy Ridge Golf Course with 18 holes. Also, the Midland
Country Club offers excellent courses for its members
- Fishing, Canoeing & Kayaking- on the Tittabawassee
and Chippewa Rivers
- Gymnastics - the Midland Gymnastics
Center offers classes, hosts competitions and features a rock climbing
wall
- Baseball & Softball - including
summer tournaments at Emerson Park's 3300-seat Currie Stadium
- Rollerskating - on the 22-mile
Pere Marquette Rail Trail or indoors at the Rollarena
- Ice Skating & Ice
Hockey at the Midland Civic Center or outdoors at Emerson
